Since 2015, CRT Japan has been exploring an effective grievance mechanism suited to Japanese companies. We exchange opinions with headquarters and overseas bases of Japanese companies cooperating with us, to organize the information on grievance mechanism. (Grievance mechanism implies as followed: As business expands globally, there is an increasing need for establishment and effectiveness of grievance mechanism available and accessible to employees from home and abroad and workers in supply chains.)

From January to April 2017, we will conduct a total of five study workshops on grievance mechanism. The workshops focus on organizing information on grievance mechanism (first and second workshops), understanding the situation of establishment and operation of grievance mechanism owned by companies (third workshop), and developing a Grievance Mechanism Guideline based on the gain information through previous workshops (fourth and fifth workshops).

We are inviting corporate participants from CSR, legal, and risk management departments, as well as participants from governments, financial development institutions from home and abroad, ADR organizations from home and abroad. However, please note that discussions will put a focus on grievance mechanism at a business level, and Grievance Mechanism Guideline will be developed as useful as possible for companies.
