Based on human rights due diligence process set out by the UN Guiding Principle on Business and Human Rights, CRT Japan has conducted a Stakeholder Engagement Program (SHE) in Japan every year since 2012, providing an opportunity for companies and stakeholders to conduct a dialogue. Please see further information on the Program here.

The SHE in 2017 will be held in Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar and Japan. A “Face to Face” dialogue will be conducted as required by the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and “Responsible Supply Chain”. In the SHE in Japan, we comprehensively discuss human rights issues related to all these countries. For Japanese companies, the participation fee for each Program costs JPY 300,000 excluding tax. The participation fee does not apply to companies from Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar. The participation fee for dialogue with small scale palm oil farmers for Japanese companies is JPY
500,000 yen (ex.tax). We will launch a new Program this year that allows SHE participants to conduct a dialogue with global experts in September. Only companies that participate in an SHE Program held in either Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, or Myanmar can apply for this global dialogue. (Participation Fee: JPY 100,000 excluding tax)
