Ardea International & Caux Round Table Japan partner to jointly support Japanese companies to comply with Modern Slavery Act

On anti slavery day, we are delighted to announce, that Ardea International (formally CLT envirolaw) and Caux Round Table Japan are entering into a partnership to support Japanese companies to comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act. The act came into force in the UK in 2015 and its principles are now spreading globally. Press release is here.

We appreciate the importance of the Modern Slavery Act and foresee that similar laws, regulations and declarations will be enacted and imposed in other countries. We expect to help Japanese companies to meet their legal requirements, by combining the legal knowledge of Ardea International and the business and human rights knowledge at Caux Round Table Japan.’
